Why I'm So Tired

At 4am my 5yo daughter came into my room to tell me that her sister wouldn’t answer her question.

“It’s probably because she’s sleeping,” I said.

This seemed like a pretty reasonable response considering how I was half awake, in my bed, moments earlier dreaming about that time I cut chemistry in high school, ate a dozen doughnuts, and didn’t gain a pound.
