The other day I gave my 8yo daughter and her four friends a ride from our church building to my house in our dented and dusty minivan. It was about a 25 min drive. They’d been having a glow in the dark dance party in the in the church gym, so the energy was high to say the least.

Now listen, I don’t know exactly how this whole dance party thing came about, or what it all entailed, but what I can say is when those 5 girls got in my van, they were pretty jacked on sugar, sweaty and smiling, giggling like crazy, and I thought to myself, “this drive is going to feel like a lot longer than 25 min.”
