So Much Negativity

Ok people, wow! There is so much negativity online right now. It’s pretty depressing, and I just want to hop on here and say that you’re awesome. And I’ll tell you how I know this.

I write for a lot of different online publications, some with followings in the millions, and I have done so for years. I’ve seen some of the most vile comments imaginable, and many of them have been directed at me. Which is just sad because, honestly... I’m the nicest guy in history of ever.

Anyway, I often have other online publishers say “you must really moderate your page because all the comments are positive.” And i always responds with “yeah, I do remove a few negative jack wagons now and again, but honestly, my followers are just good positive people.”

And maybe I’m just fortunate, but honestly, I don’t think that’s the case. I believe there is still good in the world, and if you are following this page, I can tell you, that you are part of that population.

So take pride in who you are, realize that it’s not as bad as it seems, and acknowledge that I have seen your positivity, and it has benefited my life, my writing, my world view, and my family.

I’m proud of what you are, and I’m grateful that during this difficult time there is a positive like minded group of good humans around the world, congregating online to read stories, and occasional quips, from some oddly shaped middle aged father of three adorable nut jobs, with an incredibly attractive, understanding, and forward thinking wife.
