Raising Teens Isn't For The Weak
When I had toddlers, I didn’t realize how much comfort I took in being able to pick them up, and point them in the right direction. Yes, it was overwhelming and consuming and at times maddening to raise young kids. But I also had so much more say in friends, interests, and their schedule.
But now, with teenagers, it’s honestly terrifying. I have to sit and watch, and hope, and pray, that they hold to the values we’ve been trying to teach them.
