I'm Happy It Happened
My wife and I don’t enjoy the same music or movies. She’s a night person, while I’m more about early to bed and early to rise. She loves to garden, while I more or less hate it. We like few of the same books. She loves bright colors, and I love dark colors. She’s an optimists. I’m pessimist.
I don’t get why she slipped her number in my red vest 20 years ago when we worked at that hardware store, and I don’t know why one date led a 19 year marriage, with three kids, and a mortgage, minivan, and living in three different states to finally get established. I cant explain how we have started to look more and more alike each year, or how we only fight now and again.
